Experienced Technician
 

Since 1999, The Surveillance Shop has grown into one of Canada's premiere security integrator firms. We offer the best equipment and the latest technology followed up with a team of committed, hardworking, service professionals.The Surveillance Shop is looking to fill a position for an experienced technicians in BC, AB, SK and ON that will be responsible for the installation and service of our full line of surveillance, access control & alarm products.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform installations including cabling, mounting and network setup
  • Diagnose and repair installation issues
  • Service calls
  • Train clients and ensure the proper functionality of all systems in use
  • Daily Reporting
  • Maintain a positive and professional relationship with the clients
  • Frequent overnight travel may be required

Qualifications include:

  • 2+ years experience with CCTV, Access Control, Alarm systems
  • Knowledge of Video Technology and Networking a definite asset
  • Comfortable with working at heights (extension ladders, aerial lifts)
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Valid Alberta Driver’s License with clean record
  • Clean criminal record
  • Motivated self-starter

Sales Position

The Surveillance Shop is expanding and looking for sales professionals in BC, AB, Sask, Ontario that will be responsible for growth and account management for commercial/enterprise security projects and services.

This position comes with a great opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing a pipeline of business by prospecting, cold-calling, tradeshows, and networking
  • Archiving and maintaining a sales quota
  • Nurturing, managing, and growing existing accounts
  • Responding to ‘hot leads’ within a timely fashion
  • Executing a minimum amount of prospecting and sales visits per week
  • Project follow-up, post sales/project execution visit
  • Developing and executing a ‘sales plan’

Skillset of the ideal candidate:

  • A strong aptitude for technology
  • Proven sales experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and driven to succeed
  • Not afraid to cold-call
  • The ability to build and develop relationships
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Experience in the security is an advantage, but not required
